The original SAW film still remains one of my all time favourite horror films, heck even the 2nd one was pretty good. Everything after that I can’t even remember so it is no surprise to see the franchises popularity start to dwindle. Well Konami has seen fit to release a game, based around the end of the first film which starred Danny Glover as Detective Tapp chasing down Jigsaw. Konami have long been recognised as producing horror game greats like the Silent Hill series, so what has happened here?

The German publisher bitComposer Games announced today that it will release the creepy adventure game Alter Ego in Q1 2010. Alter Ego is the latest offering from the Czech studios Future Games, who were responsible for the successful adventure titles Black Mirror and Nibiru. Alter Ego will be released on Windows PC and Nintendo Wii.
